Website Design
Jiveswing.com is one of Europe’s busiest swing dance groups, offering performances, classes, workshops, and an extensive online learning experience. Their website serves as a multi-functional hub, supporting event bookings, educational resources, and industry hiring. As the original site aged, the client sought a full rebuild to enhance usability while preserving its signature vintage aesthetic.
As the original creator of Jiveswing.com’s website, I was entrusted with its complete redesign to ensure a seamless, engaging, and scalable experience. The new site prioritises mobile-friendliness, an intuitive user experience, and SEO optimisation to increase visibility and accessibility.
Users can book in-person classes, workshops, and social dances online, with registration options for auto-filled details to improve ease of use.
A streamlined ticketing system provides attendees with digital tickets, and organisers with comprehensive attendee lists.
The site features a deposit functionality for larger festivals, so users can spread the cost; as well as a pay-what-you-like donation system.
Dedicated industry pages optimised for search engines, allowing event planners to easily discover relevant performers, teachers & troupes.
Featuring historical swing dance information and integration with "Swingopedia," alongside a connected Facebook community.
A “Netflix-Style” learning portal with structured sub-courses, modules, and membership plans, plus built-in progress tracking for a tailored experience.
The redesigned website delivers a dynamic, interactive space for Jiveswing’s community, blending vintage charm with modern functionality. With a fully responsive design, enhanced SEO, and robust eCommerce and learning features, the site now serves as an all-encompassing platform for dancers, educators, and the event organisers alike.
Modern, user-friendly websites that work seamlessly on any device.
